ITB Release with a Pocket Physio
Watch Sato show us how to release a tight ITB with a handy tool known as the Pocket Physio. This tip is great for runners, triathletes, cyclists. If your ITB becomes too tight it can cause Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS) which is one of the most common causes of the painful ‘runners knee’. So our tip is to call into POGO Physio – grab a Pocket Physio and aim to ‘prehab’ your body to avoid this injury.
G’day everyone its Sato from POGO – welcome to my treatment room! If you have tight ITB or sore ITBs try this good release technique with this awesome Pocket Physio. Just lay down on the table with the Pocket Physio under your TFL and then bend the knee. Then slightly lean forward. Stay there for about 90 seconds and you’re good to go!
