In this video POGO physiotherapist Lindsay Young demonstrates a terrific shoulder rehabilitation exercise called the ‘body rock’.


Hey this is Lindsay Young just running you through an exercise for the shoulder called the ‘body rock’ stability work.  You want to have the arm out to the side in varying degrees of adduction depending on what your physio had recommended. The next thing you are going to do is push your shoulder bald up and back and then pull your humeral head backwards too. All you are doing is transferring weight from back to front leg, holding your tail bone under at the same time too. You should feel the pressure at the back of the shoulder while you are doing this.
