Our Pilates Instructor, Peter talks about specifically what Pilates helps to achieve but more importantly what it will do for you and why you need to start to incorporate it into your life NOW!

What is Pilates?

A specific set of exercises done in a particular way that help to retrain our body to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.

How Will That Benefit Me?

It will help you to feel stronger and more able to use your body as it is designed. To be able to do the things that you love to do. You will feel better and look great.

As we get older we can have a tendency to not move as much or to stop being active at all and only doing the minimum to get us through the day. If we do this the body seizes up and leaves us more susceptible to injury. We may then stop doing the things we love to do because of the risk of injury or being in pain.

The way to keep the body young is to keep the body moving. And that is what we will do in Pilates. We will keep the body feeling fit, strong and able to do the things that you love to do.
