Tim StudleyPhysiotherapist, BPhysio (Hons Class I)

Why did I become a physio?

Growing up, I spent plenty of time at my local physio rehabbing the usual niggles and knocks. Throughout my teenage years I realised how much keeping active contributes to my overall wellbeing, which sparked an appreciation for how physiotherapy had previously helped me get back to doing the things I enjoyed.

From there, the idea of supporting others on that same journey quickly became something I knew I wanted to pursue.

    About Yourself

Born and raised in Newcastle, I completed my physiotherapy studies straight after school at the University of Newcastle (UON). During this time, I worked alongside local football teams and at physiotherapy practices, aiming to build my knowledge in sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

I have always enjoyed being active and spending time outdoors, with surfing and time by the ocean forming a big part of my day-to-day routine. When the chance arose to relocate to the Gold Coast and join the POGO team, it felt like the perfect fit both personally and professionally.

    Passions/Interests

I am really passionate about physical health and staying active. Helping others do the same is a big part of why I enjoy physiotherapy. I personally love to stay active through surfing, getting to the gym, and with a good walk along the beach.

I am also passionate about connecting with others, whether that’s supporting individuals at work, catching up over coffee with mates, or travelling and experiencing new places.
