Our Active Rehab Classes combine the principles of Pilates with practitioner-led rehabilitation to help you move better, recover from injury, and build lasting strength. Every exercise program is tailored to your individual needs, so you can progress safely with expert guidance every step of the way.
What Are Active Rehab Classes?
Our Active Rehab Classes are small-group exercise sessions led by experienced physiotherapists. While we use reformers and other Pilates equipment, every class is designed around your individual rehabilitation goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all workout.
Whether you're recovering from injury, managing ongoing pain, or looking to improve your strength and movement, your program is personalised to suit your condition, ability, and stage of recovery.
How Are They Different From Regular Pilates?
Unlike traditional fitness Pilates classes where everyone completes the same routine, our Active Rehab Classes are clinically supervised and individually prescribed. The practitioner determines the exercises that are most appropriate for you and monitors your technique throughout each session.
This allows you to exercise with confidence, knowing your program is progressing safely while remaining focused on your rehabilitation goals.
Who Can Benefit?
Our classes are suitable for people of all ages and activity levels, including those who are:
- Recovering from a musculoskeletal injury.
- Managing persistent or recurring pain.
- Looking to improve core strength, balance, and movement control.
- Returning to sport or regular exercise.
- Wanting ongoing supervised exercise after physiotherapy treatment.
- Building strength to help prevent future injuries.
What to Expect
Classes are limited to just four participants, allowing the practitioner to provide close supervision and individual feedback throughout the session.
Using reformers, the Wunda Chair, trapeze table, weights, BOSU balls, and other rehabilitation equipment, your exercises will be progressed as your strength, confidence, and function improve.
With dozens of classes available each week, it's easy to find a session that fits your schedule.
