Why EP:

My interest in exercise physiology came from my own training and a curiosity around how the body adapts, performs, and recovers. Being involved in sport most of my life, and now as a long-distance runner, I’ve developed a strong interest in improving performance, managing training loads, and keeping the body moving. I’m interested in how exercise can be used to stay resilient, prevent issues, and perform at our best.

I enjoy helping people achieve their goals and maximise their potential, whether that’s returning to sport, managing an injury, or simply moving better day to day. I also enjoy being adaptive with my exercise prescription to suit each person’s needs. I am passionate about exercise being used as a practical tool to help people move and perform better and stay active long term.

About Me:

I was born in India and moved to the Gold Coast with my parents over 20 years ago, so this has been home for most of my life. I’ve always been around sport, growing up playing soccer and cricket, and I’ve stayed active ever since through running, martial arts, and getting outdoors.

Over time, I’ve developed a strong interest in endurance training and have taken on a range of long-distance events. These days, a lot of my training is geared towards longer races, and I enjoy the process of building towards those challenges. I’m also a big fan of early mornings and catching the sunrise when I can.

I’m currently completing a Master of High-Performance Sport, and in my work, I enjoy helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they enjoy.

Outside of that, I enjoy getting out on the trails, getting back into playing piano, and spending time with my dog.

Passions/Interests:

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time training, whether that’s running, cycling, or just getting outdoors.

Outside of training, I enjoy riding motorbikes, going to the beach, travelling and spending time with friends and family. I’m also a big football fan and support Manchester United.

I have a strong interest in physical performance and the role that staying active plays in long-term health, resilience, and overall quality of life.
