Originally from Inverell, in Northern NSW, Christie’s passion for all things sport was developed very early on in her childhood, growing up with 3 younger brothers.
Her family moved to QLD in 1995 and her competitive nature and fierce determination led to her representing QLD in soccer, touch football and most recently was a member of the QLD Half Marathon team in both 2016 and 2017.
Whilst Christie loves all sports, her main passion is running, and is locally coached on the Gold Coast. It is this love of running that first brought her to POGO as a client in 2015.
Christie’s biggest cheer squad is her family. Her daughter Zahli, husband Jimmy and her parents are Christie’s greatest support crew and if she’s not out running (or at POGO) you can find her having fun at the beach with them!
Weekly Sweat: Trains up to 6 days per week which involves running, swimming and strength sessions (and weekly body maintenance with POGO’s “Running Masseur” Sato
