In episode 127 of The Physical Performance Show Brad Beer has a conversation with Jonathan Cantwell – Professional Road Cyclist.

On this episode you will hear Jonathan Cantwell share around the highs, the lows and the learnings of life from within Professional Cycling. Jonny takes us through the Genesis story that saw him take to two wheels. Jonathan turned pro in 2008 and then his Tour de France Grand Tour debut with Team Saxo Bank in the 2012-13 Season.

Jonny takes us inside the world of Professional Cycling, what it’s like  to recover, what it’s like getting on the bike each day for the arduous grand tour. Jonny was a lead out man for the team’s Sprinter and at one point he finished 6th on Stage 4 of the 2012 Tour de France. Jonny shares the memories of his top 3 races and why they were special to him. Covers the normal performance round and opens up as he relates to a recent health scare and also his brothers passing.

As this episode goes live Jonny will be competing on the Gold Coast  wearing the green and gold doing his very best at the World Championships.
