I see you offer Clinical and Fitness and Pilates at POGO. Which should I choose?

 In Pilates

Clinical Pilates or Fitness Pilates

Clinical Pilates is delivered by Pilates trained physiotherapists. It is predominantly for injury rehabilitation purposes. Our fitness Pilates sessions are delivered by our Pilates trained Fitness Instructor. Programs are designed by our Pilates instructor so that in the course of a week you will get a whole body workout. Peter Ledwidge explains the difference between the different Pilates options we deliver. If their are any further questions please don’t hestitate to call POGO Physio on 55720133.

Our fitness Pilates sessions are delivered by our Pilates trained Fitness Instructor. Programs are designed by our Pilates instructor so that in the course of a week you will get a whole body workout. Each day you come in you will get a slightly different workout each time. Classes are designed to be challenging, dynamic, progressive and stimulating. Classes are limited to 6 per session so that our Pilates instructor can get as much hands on time with each client as possible. Fitness Pilates is no less dedicated to helping improve your body than Clinical Pilates. Our instructor is highly trained and knowledgeable and able to adapt any exercises to suit your needs if necessary. Your safety is first and foremost and the instructor will work with you to develop you and progress you at all levels?

If you have attended Clinical Pilates for a while and are rehabilitated and ready to progress then Fitness Pilates is the next step for you. This is why we chose to add it to our list of services at POGO physio. We are so dedicated and care so much about your health and wellbeing that we want to see you get stronger and fitter and to build on the great work you have done in your rehabilitation. In other words we don’t just want to see you when you are injured we want to look after you at all times.

But at the same time Clinical Pilates is not a prerequisite to doing Fitness Pilates i.e. if you have never attended a Pilates class before. All you need to do is to book an initial Orientation with our Instructor and then from there can join the group sessions?

Why do I need to attend an Orientation? https://pogophysio.com.au/blog/2014/9/17/why-do-i-need-to-do-a-pilates-orientation-before-a-group-session

Are you wondering if you already need to be fit and strong to start Fitness Pilates at POGO? Stay tuned for my next Blog when I will address that very question
